For Brokers, Payroll Companies and PEOs
Bring your clients a better benefit.
Keep the client.
Your business clients already trust you with their benefits or their payroll. ProfitGuard Plus gives you something new to bring them. It lowers the payroll tax the business pays and gives employees real preventive care benefits. It does not replace their health plan, and it does not replace you.
We do the setup, the paperwork and the employee education. You stay the go-to person for your client.
The short answer
If you are a benefits broker, payroll company or PEO, you can offer your business clients ProfitGuard Plus through Ten Point Financial Group. It is a preventive care plan that sits next to a company's group medical plan. It lowers the payroll tax the business pays and gives employees 24/7 telemedicine, mental health support and wellness benefits, with no cut to take home pay. We handle the setup, the plan documents, the payroll side and the employee education. You keep the client.
What Your Clients Get
More for the business. More for the people.
The business saves on payroll tax for every employee who takes part, and gets a richer benefits package at no additional net cost.
The employees get these benefits, with no cut to their take home pay:
Looking at an EAP or Direct Primary Care?
Look at this first
A lot of employers ask their broker about an employee assistance program (EAP) or direct primary care. They want their people to get help faster, and they want real mental health support. Those are the right goals.
ProfitGuard Plus reaches those goals from a different side. Mental health support, 24/7 telemedicine for the whole family, a virtual care assistant and chronic care coaching are already built in. And it is paid for out of payroll tax the business already pays, so it is not a new line on the budget.
It is not a doctor's office, so it is not the same thing as direct primary care. But before your client signs up for a new monthly expense, it is a good alternative to put next to it.
Who We Partner With
Built to fit what you already do
Benefits brokers
This does not touch the medical plan you placed. In fact, it needs it. The employer has to offer a group medical plan for this to work, so the plan you sold is a requirement, not a competitor. You get something new to bring your groups.
Payroll companies
It runs on top of the payroll you already process. The employee makes a pre-tax election, and that lowers the wages subject to payroll tax. We work out the setup with your team, so your client is not doing it alone and neither are you.
PEOs
Your client companies can get the same benefit. We plan the rollout with your team and give you the words for employee education, so it sounds like it came from you.
How It Works
How working with us goes
We meet with you first
A short call so you know how the plan works and which of your clients it fits. If there is no fit, we tell you.
You pick the clients
We never go around you. You decide who hears about it and how. If you want the first note to come from you, we will write it with you.
We show your client their real numbers
Your client sends a payroll report. We build a savings report from it and walk them through it on a call. You are welcome in the room.
We do the setup
Plan documents, payroll setup and enrollment take 30 to 45 days, with a test payroll before go live. We teach the employees how to use their benefits.
You stay the go-to person
Your client stays your client. We keep you in the loop from the first conversation on.

What partners ask us first
Does my client have to change their health plan?
No. ProfitGuard Plus sits alongside a qualifying group medical plan. It does not replace it.
Will Ten Point go around me to my client?
No. You pick the clients and you decide how the introduction happens. Your client stays your client, and we keep you in the loop from the first conversation.
Is ProfitGuard Plus an EAP?
No. It is a preventive care plan. But it includes mental health support and 24/7 telemedicine for the whole family, which is a lot of what employers look to an EAP for. And it is paid for out of payroll tax the business already pays, not a new line on the budget.
How is it different from direct primary care?
Direct primary care is a membership with a doctor's office. ProfitGuard Plus is not a doctor's office. It gives employees 24/7 telemedicine, mental health support, Mayo Clinic backed wellness, health screenings and chronic care coaching, and it is funded by payroll tax savings. If a client is looking at direct primary care to give their people better access to care, this is a good alternative to compare.
Which of my clients are a fit?
W-2 employers with 10 or more full time employees that offer a group medical plan. Any industry.
What does it cost my client?
No additional net cost. The business saves on payroll tax for every employee who takes part, and that saving is what pays for the plan.
Is it compliant?
It is built on long-standing sections of the tax code, with written plan documents reviewed by CPAs and ERISA attorneys before any plan goes live. Your client and their CPA can see the documents before they commit.
How long does setup take?
30 to 45 days. We handle the plan documents, payroll setup and enrollment, and we run a test payroll before go live.
Is there a written agreement between us?
Yes. We start with a simple written agreement between your firm and Ten Point Financial Group before any client is introduced.
How do I get started?
Book a short call, or email anthony@tenpointfg.com with your client's name, W-2 headcount and payroll provider. We will take it from there and keep you in the loop.
